My Daily Driver

 

My black 1992 Saab Turbo finally wore out so it was time to find a daily driver replacement.

 

I bought my Z3 in March 2009 to use as a daily driver.  It is an Oxford Green Metalic Z3 3.0i with a tan interior / top and had 58,000 miles when I got it.

 

The Z3 was temporarily out of commission after an accident with a Semi on I-85 just out side of Charlotte, NC  on 7 Nov 2010.  No injuries for Mary and me.

 

I finally got the Z3 back on 18 Jan 2011 after $14,000 of work including a new left door, left rear fender, left rear wheel and tire, left rear suspension, complete paint job, and a new top.  Oh yes, and a new gear shift knob that I broke when I looked to my left and saw a semi-truck coming over into my lane and its right front wheel's lug nuts were grinding the metal off my door just 3 inches from my elbow.
